The FX-801 is the ideal soldering station for extremely large mass components such as, high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, shields and other difficult to solder applications where there is a significant amount of thermal inertia that must be overcome.

The station uses T33 Series Tips, which feature 260W composite ceramic heating elements. These heating elements have a top controlled temperature of 940°F (500°C) and high mass shapes, enabling you to solder some of the most challenging solder joints at only 750°F (400°C) and without preheating!

Digital oscilloscopes have entered an epoch-making generation. Innovative design, compact appearance, and abundant functionalities together forge this simple-in-look oscilloscope a very powerful test and measurement instrument which facilitates engineers to easily solve complex measurement issues. This is the latest definition of digital oscilloscope defined by GDS-1000B. The GDS-1000B series demonstrates the impeccable functionalities with an extremely ordinary pricing, which allows customers to realize the true meaning of bigger bang for the buck. Although, the GDS-1000B series is under the category of general purpose oscilloscope, the full functionalities within this simple-in-look oscilloscope, including parameter measurement, cursor indication, digital voltage meter, and data logging, surpasses the same category 1000 series oscilloscopes in the market. All applications of the GDS-1000B series can be applied to the educational field and the fundamental R&D units of the industrial sector.

The GDS-1000B series features three bandwidth selections ─ 100 MHz, 70 MHz, 50MHz and equips with analog signal input terminals by four or two channels ( 50MHz only equipped 4 channels input ). The maximum sampling rate for each single channel is 1GSa/s, and the memory depth is 10Mpts per channel independently. The waveform update rate is 50,000wfms/s, which helps users to precisely observe the detailed waveform variation. Additionally, 7” WVGA color LCD display and the 256 color gradient display function together allow waveforms to be observed with the senses of transparency and gradation. With respect to the horizontal time scale adjustment knob and trigger level adjustment knob, GW Instek provides a very thoughtful design ─the zero key function, which allows engineers to work more effectively.

For mathematical analysis mode, 1Mpts FFT signal display makes the dull frequency domain signal analysis more delicate. Diversified trigger functions, X-Y mode analysis, and Go/NoGo function arm the GDS-1000B series oscilloscope with higher level measurement technologies. The GDS-1000B series oscilloscope also provides OpenWave connection software, which allows users to conduct waveform observation and data storage controlled by remote PC. Model S665 is a Class 1 Integrating Sound Analyzer. A handheld real-time analyzer that performs integrated measurement and statistical analysis on noise or other electrical signals. Additionally it includes their frequency spectrum and amplitude, 1/1 OTC and 1/3 OTC value through digital signal processing technology. This analyzer can be widely used in various fields such as environmental protection, labor hygiene, research and teaching, industrial enterprise, noise measuring and testing etc. It can perform environmental noise measurement, machinery noise analysis, sound power level measurement, building acoustics and aircraft noise measurement.

Anaheim Scientific Model S665 is a Class 1 Sound Analyzer Meter. This superior Class 1 Sound Analyzer offers a wider frequency range and a tighter tolerance over a Class 2 unit. This integrating meter sums the frequency-weighted noise to give sound exposure levels. Use the S665 for noise pollution studies for the monitoring and quantifying of almost any noise, i.e. industrial, environmental or aircraft.

Model S665 meets the current International standard for sound level meter performance IEC 61672-1:2002 Class 1. This standard directs the inclusion of an A-frequency-weighting filter plus the addition of C and Z (zero) frequency weightings.

The XT2640 is actually three power a nalyzers in a single chassis with a single user interface. These are called Virtual Power Analyzers (VPA) or Channels. The XT2640 may have up to 4 channels installed, which may be any combination of channel cards and with any combination of available current input options. Channels may be configured in any one (or none) of the 3 virtual power a nalyzers. Each virtual power analyzer may be configured for up to all channels installed. Each VPA is independently configured for multi-channel wiring configuration, signal filtering, default measurement coupling, display results smoothing and significant digits, VA/VAR combine method, and efficiency grouping. VPAs may optionally be configured to be synchronized to each other.

WARNING – DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER CORD FROM THE XT2640 OR FROM THE SOURCE OF POWER WHILE IT IS MEASURING HIGH VOLTAGES. THIS WILL REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE GROUND FROM THE CHASSIS OF THE XT2640 WHICH MAY RESULT IN HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES BEING ACCESSIBLE TO THE USER.

TERMINALS AND WIRING

WARNING – THE XT2640 MEASURES VOLTAGES AND CURRENTS WHICH MAY BE LETHAL, ENSURE NO VOLTAGE OR CURRENT IS PRESENT WHEN CONNECTING TO OR DISCONNECTING FROM THE TERMINALS.
CAUTION – THE USER MUST USE WIRE WHICH IS RATED FOR THE HIGHEST EXPECTED VOLTAGE AND CURRENT FOR ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE XT2640

CAUTION – THE XT2640 SHOULD NOT BE USED IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE CONDUCTIVE POLLUTION CAN OCCUR, E.G. IN AN OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT.
CAUTION – IF THE XT2640 IS TRANSPORTED BETWEEN DIFFERING ENVIRONMENTS AND CONDENSATION IS SUSPECTED, THE UNIT SHOULD REMAIN UNPOWERED FOR SUFFICIENT TIME FOR CONDENSATION TO HAVE DISSIPATED. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT THEN CONTACT XITRON TECHNOLOGIES, INC. FOR ADVICE.
WARNING – IF FLUIDS OR OTHER CONDUCTIVE MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE XT2640 ENCLOSURE, EVEN IF NOT POWERED, THEN THE XT2640 SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OUT OF OPERATION AND SERVICED AS SAFETY MAY HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED.

INSPECTION

After the XT2640 has been shipped or otherwise handled in an unknown manner, you should visually inspect the XT2640 for damage before attempting to operate it. Particular attention should be taken to ensure that there are no significant dents or cracks in any outer surfaces, there are no marks or scratches on the front panel LCD touchscreen, and that all terminals are securely mounted to the unit and are not cracked or significantly dirty. If any abnormality is noted then it is recommended that the XT2640 be serviced prior to being placed into use, as safety may have been compromised.
