SIGLENT’s SDS2000X Series Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes are available in bandwidths of 70MHz, 100MHz, 200MHz and 300MHz, maximum sample rate of 2GSa/s, and maximum record length of 140Mpts. The most commonly used functions can be accessed with its user-friendly one-button design.
The SDS2000X series employs a new generation of SPO technology. It has an innovative digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter, and a maximum waveform capture rate of 140,000 wfm/s (normal mode), up to 500,000 wfm/s (sequence mode). It also employs not only the common 256-level intensity grading display function but also a color temperature display mode. The trigger system supports multiple powerful triggering modes including serial bus triggering. History waveform recording and sequence acquisition allow for extended waveform records to be captured, stored, and analyzed. An impressive array of measurement and math capabilities, options for a built-in 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator, 16 digital channels (MSO), as well as serial decoding are also features of the SDS2000X.

The new PicoSource PG900 Series pulse generators are high-speed, low-cost instruments for use in single-ended and differential pulsed measurement applications. The fast-transition pulse can stimulate a transmission path, device or network with a broad-spectrum signal in a single instant. Such a pulse is essential for many of the high-speed broadband measurements that we need to make; for instance in time domain reflectometry, semiconductor test, gigabit interconnect and port test, and in radar system test.

The generators are typically used to drive broad spectral content into a 50 ohm cable, connector, RF semiconductor or other device under test. The reflected or transmitted pulse can then be monitored and displayed by a broadband or sampling oscilloscope. Known as Time Domain Reflection or Transmission analysis, these techniques offer an alternative to vector and scalar network analysis. They are widely used to speed the development, evaluation and testing of high-speed data paths such as Ethernet, USB, HDMI and SATA, and RF, radar and microwave devices, cables, networks and equipment.

Unlike traditional, bulky and expensive benchtop instruments, the PicoSource PG900 generators are compact USB devices that connect to a PC running Microsoft Windows. This gives the advantages of leading microwave performance in a compact and portable instrument, a high-resolution graphical display, and easy setup by means of keyboard, mouse or touchscreen. The low cost and portability of these instruments can bring RF and microwave test out of the lab and into the world of on-site measurement. With all these advantages, the new pulse generators will have a role in the toolkit of every broadband equipment designer, installation engineer and repair technician.

Marshall M-LYNX-503 Rackmountable Triple 5″ Monitor with HDMI, 3G-SDI and Composite Inputs

The Marshall M-LYNX-503 provides three independent wide-screen displays in only 2RU rack height and very slim 1.75″ (44.5mm) depth. Each display has inputs for 3GSDI, HDMI and standard composite analog video sources. The SDI and HDMI digital inputs provide active loop-through connections while the composite input is self-terminating with passive loop-through. Controls are conveniently placed on the front panel (computer not required).

Menus are straightforward and intuitive. Front panel headphone jacks allow monitoring of embedded digital audio (SDI and HDMI) as well as analog audio (for composite video AV input). Large, three color tally lights above each screen operate from standard GPI connections (contact closure or open collector pull-down) for maximum compatibility with existing systems.

Marshall QVW-2710 27” Quad-Viewer Monitor with 4K Format Support Series

The Marshall Electronics QVW-2710 27″ 4K/2K Monitor with Dual HDMI Inputs enables users to view full 4K (4096 x 2160) or UHD (3048 x 2160) formats. The wide gamut 10-bit panel can be easily calibrated using SpectraCal CalMAN 5.2 software or equivalent. A Pixel-to-Pixel function allows viewing of each quarter of the screen in full, original resolution. Additionally, the monitor may be used as a quad-view display with each input coming from a different source.

The on-screen display shows embedded timecode, embedded audio presence indicator, and closed caption presence indicator for 608/708 captions. The QVW-2710 has a wide gamut 10-bit panel for smooth color rendition. You can also calibrate the display with optional CalMAN software to support custom gamma curves.
